Everyone is free to decide their own comfort level when it comes to deposits. If you choose never to send one, that's completely your right, and I respect that. That said, many legitimate independent ladies require deposits, especially when traveling or reserving time in advance. A deposit alone doesn't determine whether someone is trustworthy. Reputation, reviews, consistency, and history matter far more. I've simply explained why I require one in certain situations. If my booking policies don't work for you, that's perfectly okay. Just keep it moving and book with someone whose policies align with your preferences. What isn't okay is attempting to imply that my business practices are somehow suspicious or using unrelated situations to cast doubt on my reputation. I've always been transparent about my policies, and my track record speaks for itself. Clients can make their own informed decisions without unnecessary attempts to tarnish my brand.

I am sure there are many shady guys out there and you want to take steps to minimize meeting them. No easy solution to protect guys from scammers and legit ladies from the shady or unreliable guys. My name was suggested, yet the discussion has somehow shifted into debates about deposits and alleged scams. The reality is that there are not a lot of Black women in this industry, and even fewer who have built a strong reputation over time, like myself. If anyone would like to have a broader discussion about deposits, screening, or business practices, it would be more appropriate to start a separate thread. Please see Forum Rules 3, 11, and 15.
