Police Officer DUI On Duty

An OPP officer was driving his marked cruiser while intoxicated. BAC three times the legal limit! It gets better- he was attending his performance review and one his supervisors smelled the alcohol. Yes, he was drunk at his own performance review. On duty, while armed. Anyone else would have been up shit creek but he seems to have got away with a $3000 fine. Should revoke the pay when found guilty.

The reality is that cops let other cops get away with things... its the brotherhood... Their badge gets them out of speeding tickets etc. The other problem is that cops see people getting away with shit, and their lawyers get them off on technicallities... its is depressing for them.. Then there are domestic disputes which can be deadly... But in this case the guy needs some fucken help...

DUI does not exist as a legal term in Canada. It is a US term. Too much US tv influence.

Police unions need to be dismantled. Only then can we hold them accountable.
