Maeva 5304 - Stood Up
Hey Everyone, After some changes in my personal life I've recently decided to get back into this hobby. Unfortunately, my first experience has been quite a negative one. I booked an appointment with Maeva 5304 who I found on Tryst and who's reviews on PERB seemed good. She's also listed with the Dollhouse Vancouver Agency, so I figured she was a safe bet. I booked an appointment a month in advance and sent her a $100 deposit at her request. The day before the appointment she emailed me a downtown address and told me that she would meet me in the lobby, as her intercom wasn't set up yet. When I arrived at the address provided I found that it was for a multi-level parking lot on Beatty Street, not a residential building. I tried contacting her through email and through the phone number on her Tryst profile and got no response. She emailed the next day and said that she had left her phone in an Uber which caused our inability to connect. She did not answer my question as to why the address she provided was for a parking lot, which I would say was the bigger issue in our inability to meet. She has said that she will return my deposit but so far has failed to do so. I will update this post if she follows through. I'm happy to share my emails with Moderators if proof of our conversation is required. This could be a one off occurrence but this experience was really weird and has been a total waste of my time and PROBABLY deposit money.

In my first days I had similar experience once with a different handler. I actually sent half of total donation as deposit. I always step back when I see a deposit requirement.
Just an update. The deposit hasn't been returned. Maeva is a scammer. I'd recommend everyone avoid her.
Wow. Kinda similar to my situation with Wynnie Lou. I actually saw Maeva once but it was through the Dollhouse agency. The woman who runs that is such a breeze and no deposit needed. So much drama dealing with these independent providers. I hope she returns the deposit as well. She seemed very kind when I met her.
