Hello everyone! 😊 I'll be visiting your beautiful city this week for the very first time and I'm so excited to explore Kelowna! 🌊☀ Since my stay will be short, I'd love to hear your recommendations on must-see spots, hidden gems, great restaurants, or beautiful places to take in the scenery. A little about me: I absolutely love seafood (especially hot, plated seafood dishes 🦞), Italian food 🍝, nature, and anything near the water. I'm also quite athletic and enjoy long walks, scenic trails, and exploring outdoors. If you were showing a first-time visitor the best parts of Kelowna, where would you send me? Thanks so much! I can't wait to experience your city. 💕😊​ Click to expand... While I’m not a local, there are a couple of places that stand out for me as far as delicious food options go. Olympia Taverna in Rutland has never disappointed, great Greek selection. Though I haven’t been there since rebuilding after the fire, I’ve heard it’s just as good, if not better than before. My first choice, however, is L’Isola Bella in Lake Country. Not ‘in Kelowna’ but close enough and well worth the time and money. Incredible little Italian place. Hope these help to make some decisions!

A favorite is the cactus club for happy hour downtown on the lake by the yacht club, and a nice walk along the lake trail by the boats, lots of interesting shops downtown, sit on the beach, yes it's not beach weather but if the sun is shining it's beautiful. Go for a nice hike up knox mountain close to there any you'll have a beautiful view of the valley. Maybe a couple wineries. If your just here a couple days those would give you a nice visit. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time.

If you are looking for fine dining in a nice atmosphere, I'd recommend the restaurants at Azhadi, Cedar Creek and Quails Gate wineries. Reservations are recommended at all three. In town, Erica Jane usually does a great job.

I know it’s winter but take a drive to Penticotn or OKFalls for Tickleberries ice cream.

Welcome to Kelowna! If you enjoy being outdoors, I'd check out Knox Mountain for some beautiful views of the lake and city. The downtown water front board walk is also a great place and one of my favorite leisure walks. For Seafood, you might want to check out West Coast Seafood & Raw Bar and Antico on Bernard avenue is worth considering if your craving Italian pizza. Enjoy your visit!

Ticklberries is fine but the best ice cream is downtown in kelowna. More or less below Earls on Top. If you are facing Earls its same side of the street about 2 doors down on the right. Its all freshly made! Love to meet you if not this time then another. Enjoy your stay!
