Dental Services

I am looking for a dentist who is willing to work out a deal with me.... I have a wisdom tooth coming in and I have a cracked tooth both are causing me much painit is giving me a lot of pain. I am not covered for the wisdom tooth extraction and I have a fear of the dentist doing weird creepy things to me while I am under anestethic. So if anyone can help me out in this department that would be totally amazing. Thanks so much

The dental assistants are almost always female. There won't be anything inappropriate happening, and the anesthetic will be 'local', meaning they only freeze the area they work in. You don't get grogged out. The financial thing you'll have to figure out.

dental services well thanks guys, but I have decided to go to Alberta where for some odd reason I have full dental coverage on my family's dental plan.

Unless you ask for it, most dentists would rather freeze you than put you out, even then they will ask you to reconsider. With you awake there is more immediate feedback of any problems and you don't drown in your own spit if somebody forgets to suck it out of your mouth.

You should never be put out. This can be very painful and cause potential problems. In this day in age, new methods allow dentist to split the took in half in the gum so it slids out easily ... without pulling ....

That is an oversimplification but there are many methods in which to remove wisdom teeth easier than they used to. Rarely do you need to be put under or semi-under, these days.
