PERB Winter Party in Whistler

avatar agentwhite 2012-12-30 18:37

Ok! Who would be in for a winter Whistler party for a weekend? Skiing, MPA's, SP's and perbites indulging in a weekend of drinking, skiing/snowboarding, campfires and fine dining.

My two favorite kinds of riding!! Pretty sure this would involve significantly more to pull off then just "hey let's do this!" though.

If you didn't book rooms last October, good luck with this one. I was told many of the 4 * and 5* have been booked up for a year. Lot's of families repeat every year up at Whistler. Unless of course the agency you work for agentwhite also provides all you agents with accommodations too?

Why not?! I'm in[:)]

I can't really comment about Whistler as the market may be somewhat different. However Banff winter season is relatively quiet midweek, yes it books up over the weekends although that isn't well in advance. Banff's business derives largely from being a national park and from conferences, but I'm sure Whistler is geared more towards the resort. You want pain in the ass logistics with unreliable people? Try organizing a week trip to Fernie with nearly a dozen drug addled, alcoholic, can't plan ahead or save money, degenerate snowboarding hotel employees! Holy heck I'm surprised I'm not bald!

haymitch said: Yah, that's a ton of legwork, logistics and arrangements, not to mention trying to corral two of the potentially flakiest groups of people on the planets, men and women, pooners and SP's. It sounds like one of Victoria Jolie's events kinda. Given that most ladies overnight rates are in the 2-4K range, it also wouldn't be cheap. Click to expand... this would NOT be a pay-for-play hire involving the SP's and MPA's. It would be an event for fun...depending on how much fun everyone wants to have is their own business. I'm sure given the good guy-perbites and great service giving SP's and MPA's that are active here on PERB and currently in the biz would make for an unforgettable time. Additionally, we could also include social and fun group activities.

In order for something like this to work .. a bunch of guys have to put something on the table .. Rent a place for this venue to take place .. and then see who want to show up .. And then see if there are any girls that wan to come to it .. and what they expect .. I don't your going to to get free sex out of this .. But then again it might all depends what you are paying for ... Ether way what are you looking for .. one girl for every boy or a few girls .. to make it musical chairs .. I am still looking for that orgy .

ohhh.... the PA party days Without sounding too egocentric .... I would have to say, that there are not too many people (if at all ) that organized as many public parties on PERB ( all ( except one ) 10 PA public meetings + number of ... less public dinners ), YARB ( if anybody remember that site ... also had two meetings ), and recently VCA where except of the last meeting I was at least part of the "organizing committee". If you think, all SPs are all about money .... then you are wrong. It is a fantastic group of girls that has a wide area of interests and hobbies. Just most of us... see them as "fuck toys". If you have that attitude, then ... best of luck in organizing event like this. You have to have many elements for event like this happen .... - organizing group has to be a trustworthy person or a group of people. If you have an asshole attitude, or a troublemaker ... you will only attract same to your group. - place and time must be convenient ... a weekend event might provide to be more difficult to organize then just an evening - rules of the meeting have to be clearly set ... if you hope for a free sex then try lotto .... but things do get out of hand sometimes.... like a three girl strip dance for one lucky b-day boy - usually guys pay for everything ... when we had dinners... guys split the bill .... BUT, tickets for evening parties ( room rental cost ) are paid by everyone - start small .... go big ( first PA meeting had 3 guys ... last... PA#10 had around 100 people taking over part of The Drake - it is LOTS .. and LOTS of work to do it did I say LOTS of work? .... lots of e-mails, lots of calls .... it is fun to put face behind ID. I'm a strong believer that people who do know each other ... fight less on the boards ( at least with each-other [:)] ) somebody mention that VCA lost location for the parties .... true... we lost a fantastic place .... BUT ... we found another one... not as great ... but located in Vancouver downtown so..... soon... it will be party #6 announced there.

Having been involved in organizing and participating in smaller Victoria gatherings it seems that the ladies who attend view it as an advertising opportunity and hopefully have some fun. Generally, the ladies food and drink were covered and they benefited from meeting potential clients. My sense is that the ladies who did attend got a reasonable boost in their business. As Sarah mentioned these sorts of gatherings did raise the ire of some on the board who felt the time at the party needed to be directly compensated.

gonzo said: Hey Vman as someone who has been to some of the events you have organized I like to thank you and other's who take the time to set something like this up. As someone who has seen what it takes to organize something like this and know how much work goes into it ... I know I wouldn't want to do it. Thanks [:)] Click to expand... hello Gonzo .... [:D] [:D] [:D] lots of work... but ohh, so much fun ( if done with a proper group ) we didn't do just evening parties.. we did lunches and dinners, we did trips to a shooting range and Cypres ski trips in the Winter and boat trips in Summer .... the possibilities are endless. Agent sounds alot like that guy who used to hang out after seeing an sp at her "lobby" to see what the next client she is seeing looks like.

avatar mercyshooter 2013-01-01 00:35

So, when and where is this party? [;)]

avatar Sweet_Cherry 2013-01-01 05:49

Well then, let's start planning! I think this would be a lot of fun, and a good chance for people to get to know one another...[;)]

avatar agentwhite 2013-01-05 18:15

OK! Sp's that are interested please PM me with availability. I'm ready to get this thing started!

haymitch said: I think they are referring to a social night in Vancouver or Victoria, not your weekend in Whistler Agentwhite. I've got a $5 friendly bet you could not even get 1 SP to volunteer to spend her own money and take a weekend for free like you proposed. Click to expand... A few sp's have already contacted me via PM haymitch as they are more than excited at the possibility for a party night here in Vancouver or Whistler. Maybe you've had bad experiences/rejection before.
