Client Outed me!

Long story, but client outted me (real name) to his wife.. She in turn has shared my real name with at least one other couple in this small town, I'm sure she's told more people but only this one couple has informed me of her gossip, so far. Well it's tricky... Apparently they are swingers and he brought it to her as I think he wanted to book a session for both of them together... I suspect (as he never even had the decency to reply to my email) he must have said something along the lines of " so and so does massage in town and she offered me a HE, do you mind if I partake?". Or something like that. Unfortunately, he used my real name and non erotic massage business name when he referred to me. I had no idea until the couple I was outed to came and gave me a heads up. For the record, I keep the two businesses completely separate and have a pile of reviews from females... So... Hopefully. Ugh. So classless!

I recently had a fellow coworker tell me she was outed. Turns out the guy said she advertised on Craigslist and just "happened" on to her ad. He was trying to cover the fact that he was actually browsing Erslist. She doesn't advertise on Craigslist. Ever. So HE ended up being confronted by his significant other as to why he was on a escort site. Think he is living alone now. Sometimes it does backfire on them...

It wouldn't be such a thing in Vancouver... But the tiny town I'm in doesn't leave much room for anonymity. I screen as carefully as I can... With that promise of discretion expected (and talked about!!) to go both ways. Ugh.
