Why is this board so dead?

Looks like one new thread a month...

The easiest and best way to get it going is to post a review or two.

Before Caf, this was a go to site for Western Canada. Now Caf seems to absorb the prairies activity, especially Alberta. There were some fine reviewers on here back in the day, but they seem to have vanished. This site kinda got lost in the shuffle. G.A.

I came back to this site cause CAF was deleting bad reviews of their paid SP's. Apparently their rules are open to wide variety of interpretation. And their moderators are really bitchy about it. They know what shady stuff they are up too, felt like the typical bait and switch from a backpage hotel room, except online. I saw posts getting deleted that weren't the typical "angry pimp with brand new account". It was like minor bad reviews. ...review board doesn't work without an open policy on reviews. I don't see many ladies But I'll start posting some reviews. Edit: Just noticed that the older reviews are gone. I guess there is a time limit and then reviews get removed?. ...this might be a factor as I've noticed even a review of a scammer from 2 years ago is pretty useful. Obviously the older a review gets the less useful it is.

Check your settings, some pages may have time limits selected. to avoid them, always make sure you have selected "from the beginning" instead of the last 30/60/90 days. etc.

The ironic thing about this, is that most people left perb way back when because they were deleting reviews here, and it had become quite a toxic board in the alberta section. At that time, CAF was a board that wouldn't delete reviews unless they were obvious shill etc.... It seems things have come full circle, and now perb is the site that won't censor, whereas CAF is now heavily censored. It was only recently when I saw on twitter an SP complaining about Perb not having a DNR list. Sure enough I checked CAF, and all mention of her had been scrubbed from the board. I must say kudos to the new management of perb for getting rid of their DNR list. This hobby is better off when all reviews can stand.

Bad reviews don’t go away. When you delete reviews the PM system becomes the review board. When a bad review is posted publicly, you have a chance to reply and defend yourself publicly. When things move into the PM system you have zero chance to defend yourself. They’re not actually protecting anyone by deleting bad reviews. You’re actually harming your advertisers ability to defend their reputations. Good things happen don’t when you decide to throw integrity under the bus.

It is a shame really that it is happening. So the ladies are the ones shooting themselves in the foot. I haven't really paid much attention to most reviews the past year or so since most guys are afraid of posting a bad review and in return most of the reviews out there are a bunch of fluff with no actual value.

A small handful guys wrote bad reviews about Kendra. (At least they tried to written bad reviews) She responded to those bad reviews intelligently and with incredible integrity. If she made any mistake she apologized. If the client was out of line she addressed the situation professionally. Her responses to bad reviews only helped to reinforce the reasons why she was so well loved and respected within the community. Bad reviews aren’t the end of the world if you handle them correctly. Bad reviews can be an opportunity to improve your reputation when your professional about your responses. Everything has a breaking point. Eventually the PERB sections will start to recover as more guys realize they can post accurate reviews on those sites.

She was absolute crazy angry, did not like to hear logic. ....the funny thing is that I responded to the email that says 'do not respond to this email' and she responded back!!! From her poorly throughout angry replies I quickly figured out its just a scam to get advertising money. ...and of course its all about chasing the money so they already know that deleting bad reviews will hurt the review structure in the long run. But they don't care, they've moved into scammer territory to make the quick buck. I kinda use caff to check on a few backpage intels. But if I see all glowing reviews from a paid advertiser there, I'll stay away.

To be perfectly fair, the clients who abused the review system are responsible too. It’s not like the reviewers were perfect angels over the past 15 years. A handful of guys behaved like belligerent assholes when they wrote bad reviews. They chased SP’s to the ends of the earth many years after the bad review. They harassed, stalked, bullied and intimated SW’s. They made it their personal mission to destroy the reputation of an SP without an ounce of compassion. You write your bad review, you go find another SP you can enjoy a session with and you move on. There has to be a balance. You can’t have clients rolling over SP’s or SP’s rolling over clients. You write a bad review to share information. No one should be writing a bad review to get revenge, to dehumanize anyone or to victimize anyone either. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

He was honest about the PERB DNR at that time. He posted it publicly. He didn’t deceive his members or hide the fact there was a DNR. Fred had integrity; he didn’t play games to try and mislead people.

It’s literally the easiest problem in the world to solve. Some guys are acting like they’re trying to secure peace in the Middle East. Write a review. Problem solved.
