recent visitors

the box at the left hand bottom of my profile page is titled recent visitors so the names showing up would be people who have viewed my page...yes ? the handle names are listed in alphabetical order, not who was there the most recent yes? there is a notation of how many times my page has been looked at yes? is there a way to decipher who was there last and how many times that individual has been to your profile otherwise what are we achieving with current kit

ok thanks I agree. I don't recognize most of the handles and some of them I have looked back at were profile pages that were opened that day with no recorded history on their profile. Plus the number of visits goes up almost every day and thenames don't change

Invisible members would only raise the count but the handle won’t show on the list, some visits would be accidental from people like me with big fingers and small iPhone screens.

But some people get paranoid about this, I've had even members contact me in the past to ask me what I was doing looking at their profile. On my end I don't care, but some seem to be a little..umm.. overly concerned about it.

Nathans said: It's a default feature in the board's template. Personally, I think the feature should be disabled as it encourages users to be "stalked". Then again, so does the feature to see a user's posts. This is enabled in virtually all forum software boards. Click to expand... Speaking as a woman who has been physically stalked by a unbalanced disgruntled male, someone checking my profile page or PERB posts is the least of my worries.
