I’ve reached out to VanessainVictoria but with response from her. I can’t even find any info for her. To bad really, I think this would fun to build knowing it’s purpose. Relatively simple to build as well as most of the materials I would use would be from reclaimed solid fir timbers. The sketch I attached earlier was with the idea of being able to handle to weight of two people, multipurpose ;-). Making a smaller lighter table would be easy and could be made from big box store hardware. Hmmmmm.

Any updates on this thread? Hopefully the milking table prototype is working out alright?

We have agreed on colour and finish. Starting the build on Sunday. I’ll post photos.

Click to expand... The thickness of the table deck doesn't carry the weight. The legs and the rails carry the structural load. The thickness of the deck material is 3/4" fir plywood. Add 1" or so of dense foam and 1/2" of soft padding foam so your can wrap it over the edges and you have 2-1/4" thickness. Now, if you cut a 6" dia. (min.) pickle hole that will give ample room for the masseuse to get their hands right up to the massagies "base". So with 3"x 3" solid fir legs and 1" x 3" solid fir rails this table should be able to support a live load of 500 lbs and a static load of 800 lbs or more. The rails for the slide out lounger seat for the masseuse also adds to the structural integrity of the table.
