Should a separate thread for political memes be started

Some members have expressed concerns about memes taking over the political threads, should we start a new thread for political memes or keep things as is.

Yes, there should be. It’s way too much.

A meme can be commentary. Political debate has been sketchy and consisted mostly of nonsensical rants until recently.

Is there a meme for "memes are interfering with my mindless rants"?

Trump is absolute gold for memes 👍😂

Political cartoons often say more in one frame than full on articles, interviews etc. I've often felt many of these border on genius.

A political meme thread would be fun but I can see people still posting political memes in the politics threads
