And ... Yamamoto vs the Jays and Yamamoto won. Wow!!

One game does not a series make.

Yamamoto has 2nd 9 inning game! the complete game has gone the way of the rotary phone and he's tossed 2 in a row.Gausman also pitched a solid 6 innings I don't think either team had a guy on base thru 4th thru 6th innings?/Jays for sure didn't Yamamoto retired the last 20 he faced. Jays will roll out Sherzer for Game 3, and if he can duplicate his effort in Seattle,Jays could take it. Game 4 starter for LA will be Ohtani, likely against Bieber, not too hopeful there Game 5 then would expect a repeat of Game 1, Yesavage vs Snell, Snell threw an awesome 8 innings vs Milwaukee,if he does that again Jays could be in trouble. I anticipate a Game 6 in Toronto, which would be Yamamoto again, yikes. Lots of good ball ahead!

The Jays have seen him once now and their hitting coach is one of the best. It is a game of adjustments. I'd like to see a rematch with Yamamoto on the mound, which may well happen.

I would hope that's the case but in Game 2 they had some success 1st time through the lineup,2 plus innings. The fact that he retired the last 20 batters would indicate Jay's got crickets the 2nd and 3rd times they faced him,so familiarity didn't help. Unless one team sweeps the 3 games in LA we'll see him in Game 6. I can't help but think.."be careful what you wish for",lol

We just need the Jays bats to stay hot. Hitter’s series—Jay’s win. Pitcher’s series—Dodgers win. Bring the lumber boys!

I tried watching that baseball game for a few minutes and fell asleep waiting for something to happen. Even a lacklustre hockey game between two mediocre teams is more entertaining to watch.

Home runs are exciting,no doubt, but students of the game can also appreciate top level pitching and defense

I watch NHL all year because of that fabulous skating and skills it takes to play nhl levels.

It's about to get really interesting. 3 games on consecutive days. The bullpens are going to get a major workout. Theoretically, that favors the Jays, the Dodgers bullpen sucks.

They did it, starting pitcher is out 5th inning and up 4 to 2, this is the series likely here. Its all set up for the win.

avatar apple9927 2025-10-28 02:02

Barn burner!! 4 to 3 now. They have to win this, Ohtani is pitching tommorrow.

avatar apple9927 2025-10-28 03:04

why are they throwing to Ohtani right down the middle for his 2nd home run, at least walk the dude and take your chances for a double play.

avatar apple9927 2025-10-28 03:47

Go extra. This is an unreal game.

avatar ChromeGasCap 2025-10-28 04:06

Wow!! What a game.

avatar Cock Throppled 2025-10-28 04:46

There should be a rule that you can't intentionally walk any player more than once in a game. Let the fans see the best hitters, and make managers use some strategy.

avatar Forum mod 2025-10-28 06:13

I guess we can make this 4 consecutive games, with today counting as 2. They might be having the peanut vendor working in relief by the end of the game 5 at this rate.

Jays Manager took out Bo, Kirk, Barger. Sure wishes he didn't
