I turned my hobby phone on and this message popped up. Clearly someone trying to spam me. The strange thing is that I have had this phone number for only about a month. I don't recall ever contacting anyone from that area code. I wonder if, a. The person who had this number before me was also into this hobby. b. i have contacted about five SP's so far. Is one of them sharing phone numbers with someone? The screenshot is attached here. Just be careful out there! Safe Pooning. [image000000.PNG]

Could simply be somebody with a cell phone scanner who was outside of an establishment you visited. Best practice is to turn off your cell phone 1 or more blocks away from the establishment, and do not turn it back on til 1 or more blocks away.

I had no idea that this could be done.. I just looked at my journal, I have seen only one SP ever since I got this number!! I will be very careful next time I am near her incall. Thanks for the advice

I just decided to change my phone number online. Besides this new number is easier to remember. Thankfully Chatr allows you to change your phone number.
