Dare to Dream

Big Players who can take a hit and give it out and stand up at the blueline- old fashioned hockey, beat them into the ice... In 2011 the Bruins were a bigger team then the Canucks, 2nd part was extremely bad reffing.... Click to expand... The modern game doesn't rely on that much any more, even in the playoffs. Speed, relentless forechecking and a hot goalie can take a team all the way.

American winning streak of 3 decades continues. If I had to choose...I'll cheer on Vegas. Click to expand... As much as I hate Vegas, they do have one of the largest contingents of Canadian players on their team (between 15 and 19 Canadians depending on deployment!). From Wikipedia: - Forwards: Mark Stone (Winnipeg, Manitoba), Mitch Marner, Brett Howden (Oakbank, Manitoba), Keegan Kolesar (Brandon, Manitoba), Braeden Bowman (Kitchener, Ontario), and Reilly Smith (Etobicoke, Ontario). - Defensemen: Alex Pietrangelo (King City, Ontario), Shea Theodore (Aldergrove, British Columbia), Brayden McNabb (Davidson, Saskatchewan), Ben Hutton (Brockville, Ontario), Dylan Coghlan (Duncan, British Columbia), and Kaedan Korczak (Yorkton, Saskatchewan). - Goaltenders: Adin Hill (Comox, British Columbia) and Carter Hart.

No pun intended butt, size does matter along with stamina.... Big guys hitting hard on little guys does do damage.... Mass and weight push the little guy out of the way. Sure forechecking and hitting will slow guys down... stand up on the blue line and take the other guy into the boards..... So a big team with speed and alot of checking using the body to grind the opposite team down...

Talk about going down without a fight.
